Stephen Colbert stated there are indicators Donald Trump is already regretting his determination to choose Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) as his operating mate.
Vance has been stiff and awkward at marketing campaign appearances and has managed to repeatedly offend key voting teams, particularly girls, with feedback reminiscent of his notorious 2021 dig about “childless cat women.”
Simply this week, audio resurfaced of him agreeing with a podcast host that the “entire function of the postmenopausal feminine” is to assist increase grandchildren.
Colbert stated Trump was reportedly requested at a fundraiser about folks calling the Republican ticket “bizarre.”
“Trump replied, ‘Not about me. They’re saying that about JD,’” Colbert famous. “That’s good. Good teamwork.”
He then performed an up to date model of the ending of “Thelma & Louise” which may replicate how Trump actually feels about Vance at this level.
