Seth Meyers is finished with Republicans conveniently forgetting about or downplaying the lethal Jan. 6, 2021, revolt when Donald Trump supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol as his election loss was being licensed.
Trump’s operating mate, JD Vance, in the course of the vice presidential debate turned the most recent in a line of conservatives to assert that the previous president left workplace peacefully.
“Trump solely left workplace peacefully on Jan. 20 as a result of he tried to remain in workplace violently on Jan. 6 and it didn’t work out,” Meyers identified.
Home Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) and Fox Information’ Jeanine Pirro and Jesse Watters have made related claims.
However as Meyers reminded them, “You’re leaving out the most important half.”
