Nikki Haley is casting doubt on her promise to help the Republican candidate for president come this November.
Throughout a Sunday appearance on “Meet the Press,” the previous governor of South Carolina instructed NBC’s Kristen Welker she wasn’t entertaining the thought of endorsing Donald Trump whereas her race continues to be going.
Requested if she was “in a special place” on Trump since vowing to vote for him in the course of the first Republican major debate final August, Haley mentioned, “For those who’re speaking about an endorsement, you’re speaking a couple of loss. I don’t suppose like that.”
“The RNC now will not be the identical RNC. I’ll make what determination I wish to make,” she continued. Haley is Trump’s final standing rival for the Republican presidential ticket.
Although Haley has but to win a single Republican major, she instructed Welker she was staying targeted on this coming Tremendous Tuesday when 15 states and the territory of American Samoa will go to the polls.
“Whilst you all take into consideration that, I’m the truth that we had hundreds of individuals in Virginia,” Haley instructed Welker. “We’re headed to North Carolina, we’re going to proceed to go to Vermont and Maine, and all these states to go and present individuals that there’s a path ahead.”
“I don’t have a look at what if,” she went on. “I have a look at, ‘How will we proceed the dialog?’”
