Republican Senate Chief Mitch McConnell endorsed former President Trump’s re-election marketing campaign on Wednesday after Trump collected practically 1,000 delegates from a thunderous efficiency on Tremendous Tuesday.

The endorsement comes after Trump’s solely major opponent, Nikki Haley, suspended her presidential marketing campaign on Wednesday morning.
McConnell, who turned 82 final month, was probably the most senior member of Congress that had but to endorse Trump.
His endorsement comes after he vehemently criticized Trump and referred to as him “morally accountable” for the Jan. 6, 2021, riot on the Capitol.
McConnell blamed Trump for inciting the riot and stated he was chargeable for the “total manufactured ambiance of looming disaster” and “wild myths” in regards to the election. The Senate chief finally didn’t vote to convict Trump on impeachment fees.

McConnell’s endorsement comes as he introduced final week that he would step down as Republican chief to pursue “life’s subsequent chapter.”
