Jimmy Fallon teased Wednesday that Donald Trump would possibly need to break up along with his working mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio).
“In line with a brand new report, former President Trump is livid at his marketing campaign workers for letting him make the ‘horrible resolution of choosing JD Vance as his VP,’” the “Tonight Present” host mentioned.
“Trump regrets pairing up with Vance. He’s like, ‘That is why I all the time signal a prenup,’” he continued.
The comic was citing a report from a tabloid, the Irish star, which claimed Trump was “fuming” over the choice to decide on Vance to affix his ticket.
The newspaper pointed to latest feedback from Anthony Scaramucci, a vocal Trump critic who served very briefly as his White Home communications director in 2017. Scaramucci claimed in a podcast look that Trump “is aware of Vance was a horrible, horrible decide.”
The Trump marketing campaign has said the assertions are “100% not true.”
“You’ll be able to inform the information actually made Vance upset, too,” Fallon quipped. “I imply, take a look at his eyeliner at this time.” The joke was accompanied by an image of Vance edited to indicate make-up working from his eyes.
(There’s been rampant speculation that Vance wears eyeliner to make his eyes pop, although his spouse, Usha Vance, says it’s “all pure”).
