Italian aviation officers blocked a British Airways flight from leaving Milan for London after a shock inspection discovered a number of the seat cushions have been too thick and too large. Seat cushions on exit rows over the wings are speculated to be smaller to create extra room in case of an evacuation. The air crew known as out serial numbers for the proper seats and had passengers see if any of the cushions on their seats matched these numbers. They have been capable of find sufficient cushions to swap out for these over the exit rows, and the flight departed after a delay of an hour.
