Michael Steele, a former chair of the Republican Nationwide Committee, reacted with disbelief to a Fox Information contributor’s cringeworthy suggestion about Donald Trump’s new shoe line.
Trump launched a line of $399 gold sneakers a day after a New York decide ordered him to pay over $350 million in damages for many years of fraudulent enterprise practices.
The footwear, referred to as “The By no means Give up Excessive-Tops,” sparked widespread mockery. However not from Fox Information’ Raymond Arroyo, who recommended over the weekend that Trump was “connecting with Black America” as a result of “they love sneakers.”
A clip of the second gained traction on social media after it was posted midweek. Arroyo was criticized for selling dangerous racial stereotypes.
“If you wish to know what Trump marketing campaign staffers take into consideration you, simply watch Fox Information,” Steele commented on MSNBC’s “All In” on Thursday.

He deadpanned after enjoying a clip of Arroyo’s commentary.

The web site promoting the merchandise, which have an American flag element on the backs and the letter T on the edges, payments the sneakers as “daring, gold, and difficult, identical to President Trump.” The location says they’ve bought out.
It’s simply the newest in a collection of merchandise and cash grabs launched by the previous president amid skyrocketing authorized charges and fines, which now reportedly exceed half a billion {dollars}.
