President Biden has began to modify gears into marketing campaign mode.
On the path, he’s notably centered on South Carolina, which holds the primary official Democratic major contest on Saturday. And considered one of his first marketing campaign occasions of the 12 months took him to Emanuel A.M.E. Church in Charleston, for a speech that addressed the risks of white supremacy.
However a couple of minutes into the speech, he was interrupted by protesters calling for a cease-fire in Gaza.
Since that day in early January, it appears as if wherever Biden goes, protesters are able to voice their dissatisfaction with the way in which the administration is dealing with the battle between Israel and Hamas.
At the moment: The activists drowning out the president at marketing campaign occasions. And the Arab American swing state mayor, Abdullah Hammoud of Dearborn, Mich., on why he declined a current invitation from Biden’s group.
