President-elect Trump on Sunday named Callista Gingrich, spouse to former Speaker of the Home Newt Gingrich, as one among his newest U.S. ambassador nominees.
Writing on Reality Social, Trump wrote that he picked Gingrich to function U.S. ambassador to Switzerland, citing her earlier ambassadorial expertise in his first administration. Gingrich, and the opposite ambassador nominees, will must be confirmed by the U.S. Senate.
