“Late Present” host Stephen Colbert is attempting to determine why Republican lawmakers are abruptly working so exhausting to guard former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.), whom President-elect Donald Trump tapped to function lawyer basic.
Republicans on the Home Ethics Committee this week blocked the discharge of a report on allegations Gaetz paid for intercourse and medicines and that he had intercourse with a minor, which he has denied.
