Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) mentioned on Monday that the GOP has “lots of character issues.”
Graham’s confession got here on CNN after “The Supply” anchor Kaitlan Collins requested him why Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump seems to be struggling in polling following Vice President Kamala Harris’ alternative of President Joe Biden on the prime of the Democratic ticket.
Graham, a fierce Trump loyalist, first claimed the previous president would, any longer, be “very targeted” on the duty at hand after Harris’ nomination was confirmed.
However he then confessed about his social gathering, “Our issues are character.”
“Their issues are coverage decisions which can be hurting the common American and set the world on hearth,” Graham sought to clarify. “If we will get our character issues mounted, we are going to win this election as a result of their insurance policies are by no means gonna be mounted by them.”
Collins pressed Graham on the “character” admission and tried to deliver the dialog round to Trump.
“It’s deeper than him,” Graham interjected. “I promise you there. We now have lots of character issues in our social gathering.”
